There are several stages in this work for mould design & production.
It all starts with a sketch of the model that you want to send to production. Drawings are developed, all ideas, designs, products, and forms are built using 3D modeling.
This is the stage of developing the design features of the model, the presentation of various parts, connectors, inserts, gates and other things. It is computer modeling that helps to get rid of most defects, reduce warping, remove slits and stains.
All these moments will be taken into account electronically, checked by specially developed programs. For these purposes, computer CAD / CAM product design systems are used.
Additionally, to automate the work of designers, a number of unique systems are used, followed by Mold-flow analysis.
The full implementation of 3D modeling is followed by the design itself. Parts of the structure, various elements are ordered. Next comes the assembly of the prototype.
The main part of the creation of mold parts is machining on electroerosive and CNC machines. Use 3 stages of heat treatment, as well as 3 stages of mechanical processing.
The resulting mold is checked for compliance with the requirements, after which it is sent for use in plastic injection molding. These injection molds are the most commonly used.
The final stage in the manufacture of a mold is its fine-tuning to obtain the final product of a given quality, condition and ensuring the required production cycle time.
Any mold for plastic injection must be of high quality, the result depends on it. Modern production of press blanks requires a scrupulous attitude of specialists at all stages of work. Especially for making plastic tiles.
Pressing plastic proved to be excellent in constant use. It holds the load perfectly, is available in different colors. And masters use molds regularly in their work.
Tests are carried out on special equipment, which must be identical to that which will be used in production conditions, and also close to real operating conditions.
Obtaining molds of a given quality is the goal of all three stages of its manufacture. If it is not possible to achieve the quality of the final product, then the craftsmen look for flaws in the previous design stages.
